Curriculum

The American Grammar School academic department work very closely with teachers for a common objective: to improve the quality of teaching and facilitate learning in every way. Our high quality, standardized curriculum has produced some of the best matriculation results in the country.
The department is dedicated to providing complete support to its network of teachers. The academic department has robust professional development programme for teacher training and another new support function initiative is to provide CRP(curriculum resource packs) unit-based daily lesson plans (DLPs) to teachers for the academic session.

Cucurriculum source packs comprise of a scheme of studies related to a centralized book list of private and government publications, CRPs are developed for two terms respectively. The teachers use these CRPs and DLPs to ensure effective teaching and learning in the classrooms.

Subjects required
O-level

O level students are required to study 8subjects, of which English Language, Islamiat , Mathematics, Pakistan Studies and Urdu are compulsory for all groups including students of humanities. in order to choose the other three subjects, students may select one of the following combinations :
